About Moi & Into The Book

My name is Rachael and i’m a recent college graduate with a degree in Media studies and a minor in film. I have a 2 year son who I love with all my heart, a chef husband and two little wiener dogs. I LOVE reading; I could read all day long if that was acceptable (and if my house cleaned itself). I also have a passion for history and I am currently working on a novel (historical fiction though the topic is hush hush). I wish I could live inside the pages of my books and that is why I’ve created this blog. There are already tons of great blogs out there that review books so the goal of my blog is to go beyond the pages of the books and dig into their past, their facts and their origins. Basically, I wanted to create a virtual notebook where I could keep and share all the fun things I find out about the books I read, giving them images and videos as well as opinions to bring them to life. Thanks for checking out my blog and I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing it!

xoxo

Rachael

I’m loving this Blog! I’m doing a corset project in my A level Textiles course and my inspiration is 18th century France/England! So glad I’ve discovered this as I love history and just wish I was there watching it all through my eyes rather than imagining it! Thanks x

Thank you for visiting the blog, I’m in love with all these beautiful clothes too! I’ve always wanted to take a class from colonial Williamsburg in costuming and textiles. It’s wonderful that you’re keeping the old styles alive!
